Patrice de Viviès is Senior Vice-President Northern Europe, Total Exploration Production and member of Management board of Total E&P.
Between 2002 and 2005 de Viviès was the Gas Director of the French Energy Regulation Commission (CRE). He began his career as a Scientific Attaché for the French Embassy in Bogotá (Colombia) in 1976 and joined the Total Group in 1978 and held the following positions within the group.
Patrice de Viviès is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris, Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales de, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford CA, U.S.A and of Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale.
